Err i cant understand why MC need to afraid of saito dousan if he no even think of betraying him, i mean in original history the only reason this father-son feud cause Yoshitatsu cant accept his father favor nobunaga than him so he stage a coup, if he not even care why afraid ?
ReplyDeleteWell, the MC's fear mainly stems from what he already knew in his previous life about Saito Dosan, who had terrible means to subdue his enemies. Although the real Yoshitatsu was able to defeat him, our MC cowered.
DeleteIt's also said that the real Yoshitatsu killed his father because the latter favored his other brothers and planned to have them succeed. So he went ahead and killed all his brothers and finally his father.
(There was also a theory that he wasn't Saito Dosan's real child and that's why he was discarded.) But this theory seems to be contradicted by the novel; When his uncle told the MC that his father was also very excited the day he was born...
Well, I find this mystery very interesting and intriguing. :p
Ah yeah that rumor about yositatsu not dousan true son, if not wrong this came out because how dousan end up as lord of mino and talk about yositatsu actually son of former lord and his mother is wife of former lord. But this one made yositatsu mother as dosan concubine.

ReplyDeleteYes, I'm sorry for that, but I have very little time to spare for translating lately, knowing that I don't want to deliver a half-assed job.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your concern, I'm sorry for taking such a long break from translation. And the reason's simple, my studies and real life is taking all of my time. I'll try to pull out some chapters in my next holiday, which is in March. (Can you imagine that I haven't had any holidays since September) :')
DeleteHowever, ultimately, I won't be able to go back to everyday releases until the summer holidays.
I'm really sorry, this year is a really important year for me. I'll try to think of a way to keep translating regularly next year, despite my work load.
