Chapter 13 Part 4 - Since I was reborn as Saito Yoshitatsu, I'm aiming to hand over the territory to Oda Nobunaga and live longer!

TL: Yuina In the summer, Tatewaki Saemon no jo Saito Toshishige came to Mino Province as Yorinari was officially appointed as Mino's Shugo by the bakufu.
He bowed to Yorinari and returned to the post of Shugodai.
Me and my father took the role of the acting Shugodai, and Mt. Inaba remained under our control.

It is said that the Hokke sect (Nichiren sect) was driven out of Kyoto by (the monks of) Mt. Hiei and the Rokkaku, and was banished by the Emperor. As a result, a part of the priests who were driven out fled to Mino Province and my father protected them.
They seem to be involved in the reconstruction of Jozai-ji Temple, since there are many educated people, I will learn a lot from them. It seems that Nichigyo-sama knows many people. Another hard-line group of Hongan-ji Temple, which rose in revolt at Nakajima Castle, was defeated by Kizawa Nagamasa [2], and it seems that they will finally be able to regain their composure. It only sounds like a flag. [3]

In 1536, Yoshitatsu also celebrated his coming of age. Although his name was Toshihisa at that time, in this version of the story, it differs slightly from the historical facts, since Yorinari took notice of him as he was granted the use of a portion of his own name.

[1] Go is an abstract strategy board game for two players, in which the aim is to surround more territory than the opponent. The game was invented in China more than 2,500 years ago and is believed to be the oldest board game continuously played to the present day.
[2] Kizawa Nagamasa was a daimyō of the Sengoku period in Japan. Nagamasa built Shigisan Castle for the Hatakeyama clan in 1536, an accomplishment that earned him the title of shugo of Yamato Province. In 1561 he expanded into Shiga Prefecture when he defeated the Rokkaku clan at the Battle of Maibara using ninja from Iga to launch a fire attack. The castle once was his, but the Rokkaku took it only recently before his costly victory.
